What We Offer

We collect non-perishable groceries for Store-house West pantry in Rio Rancho. Protein-rich foods such as rice, beans, tuna and canned meat are always needed. Collection bins are in the Parish Hall. Groceries are delivered to Storehouse after the last Sunday of each month.

We were recently reminded by an article in the Albuquerque Journal that hunger is still a very serious problem in

New Mexico. More than 17% of the people in New Mexico, or more than 360,000 persons, face food insecurity at one time or another. Food pantries, soup kitchens and other meal programs serve an average of 70,000 persons per week.

Hunger is not just a holiday problem, either. It exists year 'round. Our St. Francis congregation has been generous in its monthly donations to help feed the hungry through Storehouse West.
