Altar Guild is a ministry of St Francis Episcopal Church, that helps with the setting of God's table at all services. We are in charge of changing the colors for the different season's in the church . Setting up and cleaning up after each service. We also make sure that there are always flowers for the service and that all the candles are refilled and maintained. We are small group of ladies that make the church bright and cheery from week to week and extra special for Holidays and feast day. Cub scout pack 31 meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and invites boys ages 6 through 11 to enjoy a wonderful time to learn about themselves, their communities, and the world through many activities. Exploration of museums, invited special guests, climbing a rock or two. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to participate.
Clare'e Closet (established in June 2015) is a "store" where families in need can purchase infants and children's clothing and other necessities at below thrift store prices. The Closet is open 2nd Monday/Month 11-1pm, 2nd Sat/Month 8:30-10am. Donations of new and gently used items (baby and kids clothing sizes through 14, shoes, diapers, etc. ) are welcome Monday - Thursday, 9 - noon at the church office, and on Sunday Mornings. Please note "Clare's Closet" on the memo line of check donations. Please spread the word of this amazing ministry to all.
We collect non-perishable groceries for Store-house West pantry in Rio Rancho. Protein-rich foods such as rice, beans, tuna and canned meat are always needed. Collection bins are in the Parish Hall. Groceries are delivered to Storehouse after the last Sunday of each month.
