Born and baptized in Austin, TX, my family moved to Las Cruces, NM, when I was 6, so I had the privilege of growing up in the Land of Enchantment. I left New Mexico to attend Wheaton College (IL), and from there moved to New Jersey, where I attended Princeton Seminary. During my time in seminary, I met my best friend and wife, Becca, while on internship at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Las Cruces. Also during that internship, I sensed strongly God calling me into the priesthood. After completing seminary, Becca and I moved to Philadelphia, where she was attending nursing school at U.
